Youth Sports Programs
The LA84 Foundation runs several youth sports programs to complement our grant making and coaching education programs. Our goal is to maximize youth sports opportunities throughout Southern California and create the best possible environment for young people who participate in sports. Providing sport services and opportunities to under-served populations is an LA84 Foundation priority.

The LA84 Foundation trained coaches understand that participants' needs come "first" and winning is "second." The LA84 Foundation coaching philosophy is built upon, FUN, FITNESS and teaching FUNDAMENTALS. Having expertise in the sport does not make one a "qualified" coach. It is more important to have expertise as a "coach." Learn how to communicate effectively with young athletes.
